Hi! My name is Lionel. I'm an orphaned dog in search of a family to call my own. A lot of people that have told me that I am a very good dog. I'm not sure what that means but I can say that I enjoy walking with my human and canine friends, I don't bark unnecessarily and while I am not one to lick the skin off your face, I am a polite, loving, gentle dog. I also am very good at playing fetch. I've even been known to spice up the game a bit. My game of fetch, which is patent pending, goes like this. I bring you a rock, you throw the rock, I chase after the rock and to show off my victory of capturing said rock, I have a victory dance of sorts. I quickly dig a little hole. Not for the rock mind you, this is just my way of keeping score! I bring you the rock and we go through the whole thing again. Now folks might be just fine with playing the "old fashioned" game of fetch but I get quite a lot of chuckles with my version and it keeps the game going even longer for me so it's a win-win! My human friends have told me that I don't have to play with rocks anymore that I can play the same game with balls, which they are right and BOY do those balls go so much farther than rocks are are a lot easy on my mouth!
So as you can see I'm smart and funny. Not to brag but I've also been told I'm much more handsome in person so I guess I have that going for me too. One thing that can't be truly measured is the size of my heart and the amount of love I have to give. For that, you'll just have to fill out an application to meet me in person. I hope to hear from you soon! Love Lionel!
