General Comments

Britney is a world-class funster! All she wants to do is play and live life to the fullest! Britney is such a happy pup that she tries to jump on you and give kisses. Britney does pull on the leash, as do most young and energetic pups, but we remedied that by running for 45 minutes. Britney is a master runner and stays focused on what is in front of her. Not once did she stray or was distracted by things around her. We stopped a couple times for a cool drink and a couple of training treats. Britney knows the command “sit” and is very willing to show off her skills for a treat. We worked on shake but she didn’t quite master that command. If you are a runner, hiker or power walker, Britney is the girl for you. We came upon a Border Collie mix, named Maverick. She attempted to engage Maverick in some playtime, but he was an older dog and just stood and looked at her like she was a crazy kid. Britney is a beautiful, energetic, and fun-loving girl. She is sweet, loving and just wants your attention.

If you're looking for an active companion that would love to snuggle with you after a great hike or run, Britney is your girl!  She's eager to start the next chapter of her life, so fill out an application for her today!

RESCUE History

Britney came to Animal Control as a stray but when they scanned her they found a micro-chip that was connected to a rescue group.  The group was contacted and never came to pick her up.  She weighed 51.1 pounds when we rescued her.
