Gabe is a handsome British shorthair with soft fur and liquid orange eyes that seem to stare right into your soul.
This lover boy has a playful energy that makes him super active, yet he is quick to show his affection by rubbing against you and doling out lots of head bumps! Gabe will be delighted if you choose to sweep him off his paws and into your arms…he enjoys being held like a baby and will bask in the attention you bestow upon him. If you don’t initiate interaction, don’t worry, Gabe has no qualms about jumping into your lap and making himself at home for some quality cuddling time that never fails to crank up the ol’ purr motor! After some time passes, Gabe jumps down from your lap where he will then proceed to flop on the floor, roll over, and request a tummy rub! This sweet boy loves any and all interactions with his people, as long as ear scratches and petting is involved!
When Gabe’s attention shifts from snuggle time to play time, watch out! This guy loves to play! Gabe looks at each new toy he encounters with curiosity and fascination. Tunnels, paws-down, are 1 of his favorite items to interact with…so many ways to use a tunnel…hiding, stalking, sleeping…the possibilities are endless!
This awesome guy is very conversational with people and his fellow felines. Speaking of other felines, Gabe is a fan! Gabe is an easygoing, well-adjusted kitty that doesn’t seem to let anything bother him.
When Gabe was rescued by the Humane Society as a stray, he was suffering from an abscess on his leg. To add insult to injury, he came down with a cold shortly thereafter! This little boy has come a long way in a short period of time! We’re happy to help see him through his next chapter…finding his very own happily ever after ending with a family he can call his own!
Gabe was a stray cat that came into the Humane Society with an abcess to leg. This was treated. He then came down with a cold.
