General Comments

Our little Meg is a HUGE hit at RESCUE and with all that have met this special gal!  These are just a few of her rave reviews:

"Meg will steal your heart! There's a lot of personality in this tiny girl and the pictures do not do her justice! Everyone who met her today just gushed over how friendly and playful she was, how pretty and unique her coloring is, and how cute her Mohawk looks. A couple even expressed interest in applying for her."

"At the park, Meg was content to either sit in the shade or take a lap. Whatever you wanted to do was ok with her. She is a very confident walker and didn't shy away from any other people or dogs that came her way. Meg likes to lead when she walks and doesn't get distracted by noises or follow any smells. She hardly stops at all really; she just wants to keep going. When we would stop Meg would search out the plushiest patch of grass and slide around in it with her toys. She could keep herself entertained if need be, and she loves the small tennis balls the best. She even showed a slight interest in fetch."

"At Pet Club Meg got plenty of love from volunteers, shoppers, and employees alike. She slid around the blankets, played with a few toys, and was eager to meet any one that came by. She greeted new people confidently and would play with them if they engaged."

"I absolutely fell in love with Meg!! This was my first time with Meg and I had so much fun with her. When She lay in the dog bed I have on my passenger side and was calm the whole ride.  I can’t wait to see this little girl again."

"I enjoyed a nice morning with Meg. She is a sweetheart and a very happy little girl. She was a perfect passenger in the car. We went to a near park and relaxed under a shaded tree for a little bit and she loved it. She was great on the leash. She enjoyed relaxing on the grass and rolling around and enjoying some quiet time. She was very affectionate with me. We drove around a little and through the Starbucks drive through and sat for a few minutes outside at the tables. She was very good and enjoyed seeing the sights. She is a lovely lil pup."

"Meg is such a precious little lady. What Meg lacks in size she makes up for in spirit and spunk. She has the biggest heart, the widest smile, and large beautiful eyes. The kind of eyes that make you fall in love instantly!"

Meg received her name due to her unique coloring and "fin/mohawak" of hair on the back of her neck.  So she became Megalondon, aka Meg.  This little gal has such a large, joyful personality.  She draws all in for some attention and they are not disappointed.  Meg makes everyone smile with her her "fin," amazingly soft fur, and of course her sweet, happy go lucky personality.

Meg is looking for family that will love her for all the days of her life.  She will lavish unconditional love on her new family ten-fold.  Daily walks with plenty of socializing with neighbors and their canine friends would be ideal for this social butterfly.  Hanging out at the local pet friendly cafe?  Meg would be the perfect companion although you must be prepared for lots of people stopping in hope to met this sweet gal.

If you've got what Meg is looking for, please complete an application for her today!  She won't be with us long!
