Bubbles & Badger
Bubbles is really fitting in awesomely ( is that a word?) we love her dearly, although we'll be
honest, we really did like those couch pillows. She gets along fabulously with Badger, and more importantly, he seems to have really taken to her. He loves to lead her around. She loves to follow. She loves to play with him, and he loves to also. Sometimes you can't tell where one dog ends and another starts! She has a strange fetish for chewing on his name tag. She'll pull his collar off if given enough time and he doesn't seem to care. Anyway, she seems to be settling in here and we are doing the same. She is quite the counter surfer. She thinks that avocados are balls. Something that we are still working on. When she first came here, after first checking the perimeter, she went right to the toy basket on the front porch and inventoried EVERY SINGLE ONE. She has allowed us to fix every single hole in the fence also since she is quite the inquisitive gal. All in all though, we wouldn't trade her for all the tea in China. She has really bonded as you'll see in the pix. Sleeps in whatever bed Badger doesn't take. Spent 2 nights in the
guest bedroom so we didn't disturb them.Have fun.

Subject: Bubbles & Badger's forever home
Here are a few pictures of our forever friends Badger and Bubbles. Badger has been with us for a few years and we have just recently been adopted by Bubbles. The two are best friends and we couldn't be happier. We have hundreds of pictures of the two and will send more later.
We can not begin to explain our love for Badger. He has been our compadre, our mentor and our deepest friend. When he came in to our lives, we thought that we understood the term " forever " home, but Badger has taught us the real meaning.
From the moment that he came into our home, he began protecting our little girl Lefty. He knew, and we didn't. He was always the best partner and friend to all of us. He really seemed to have a special bond with Lefty, that still carries on to this day. He loves to run and play with the neighbor dogs, but he misses his little girl like the rest of us. Bubbles has really made a difference in his life, and she and Badger love to wrestle and play every day, The neighbor has just gotten a Black Lab Mix that resembles Lefty all too much. However, Badger seems to pine away for Freckles, the Australian Shepherd that has tormented him for years (lol). We are afraid that she is getting older and she doesn't bark at the fence as often. Bubbles is always there for him and her family ( us ) and is just a bundle of energy. We don't think that she understands her " forever Home" but we surely do. Thank you so much for making us aware of how many puppies need a loving, caring home. These two have forever given us a new outlook on life.
Thank you.
