Here is the latest and greatest on former RESCUE dog Davy, now known as ��Chunk ��. (If you saw him prior to his adoption, you would understand his new name!)

Although his mommy Michele says they may need to think of a new nickname, because Chunk has lost some much needed weight, yahoo! Michele promised us she would dedicate herself to help Davy slim down, and that she did. Davy weighed 14 pounds when re rescued him, and he has lost a couple of pounds at least, and is now down to 12. Baby steps! Michele says he is doing really well! He loves his toys and loves to play tug of war, (more than a few toys have lost a limb!!) � Davy loves to go for walks after dinner and also plays lots of chase games with his toys around the back yard. �Mom says he is such a snuggler and his grandma, who also lives with them, wraps him up in a warm blanket while they wait for the bus with the kids in these chilly mornings. J He loves to see the boys off to school �� � Michele said that he ��really is just a beautiful dog and if you can't tell, I just love him to pieces! �� � He gets along well with the other two dogs, (a huge 3 legged lab, and a pit bull sister who he rules over! J) and all three do just fine when all out together for a stroll . Davy is also starting to get protective of his family and joins Buddy, (the large lab) in a barking fest when the door bell rings. This little guy is very much loved, and has companionship 24/7. He spends most of the day snuggling with grandma in their favorite chair, that is, until he ��s ready to play. He is a wonderful addition to the family and wishes everyone at RESCUE Happy Holidays!!!
