I thought I'd send you a quick update on Romeo... he is really settling in well! Always good natured, almost always in the room that I'm in, very playful, drags the fishing pole toy around the house like a trophy he's caught.

He had a brand new bright blue covered litter box that he really spends quite a bit of time scratching in after he does his business. No accidents around the house at all! He is using Eskimo's old sisal rope scratching post very regularly and has not attacked any furniture.

He's slept with me since the first night. What a love - he got the right name! He likes to sleep on shoes if they get left out... mmmm nice aromas no doubt.

Romeo has discovered that he can see a huge tree from my office window which comes down almost to the floor that has birds and squirrels to watch. He keeps a close eye on anyone walking in the sidewalk below, especially people walking their dogs.

I've left Romeo in my bedroom the last few days but this morning decided to take a leap and let him have the run of the house. I think he'll be OK - I'll know when I get home...
