Scully and Nanook
we couldn't have found a better match - they love each other so much you just wouldn't believe it.
after 5 months of snow (it was the worst winter ever!!!) here in germany spring is slowly coming. scully & nanook enjoy that the weather is starting to warm up and they spend a lot of time on their cat-safe balcony. they really love it out there and rudi is about to build an outdoor cat-tree so that they can run around on it and just sit out there and watch the birds fly by. even nanook isn't afraid of the birds anymore - she was so scared when she first saw a bird fly around outside without a window between her and that bird ;o))) it's amazing how well the've adapted to their new life here in germany.
i have to run now. it would be great to hear from you.
take good care & a big hug,
andrea
p.s.: as always i've attached some photos of scully & nanook - just see how happy they look and how much they enjoy each others company ;o)))

it's been so long since i wrote, but I've been incredibly busy. how are you guys? Theo's finally been adopted - I was so glad when I read about it!
we were very worried about nanook in October. she was so sick and the vet couldn't really find out what it was. it was some nasty virus and we had to go to the vet pretty much daily for 3 weeks. at one point he thought it was fip and I was just devastated. nanook was so brave! she had to get 3-5 injections every other day and bloodsamples were taken 3 times. this poor little girl ran a nasty fever and had diarrhea, but she still tried so hard to use her toilet even when she was almost too week to climb in there. after 3 weeks she slowly started to get better and now she's her old self again. talking all day and playing with scully like a little whirlwind ;o) scully was so sweet to her when nanook was sick. she kept her company and groomed her and just tried to be there for her. I can't tell you how much we love our girls. I was so scared that we might lose nanook...
even so it's pretty late for that - I wish you a wonderful & happy new year! I'll attach some photos (the outside cathouse on the balcony is ready!) so you can see how great scully & nanook look ;o))) would you be so kind to forward this e-mail to all the rescue-staff? it would be nice to let everyone know that the cats that went to Germany enjoy their life ;o)
all the best and a big hug,
andrea, rudi, scully & nanook
