Sir G is doing well - we obviously kept his name! He does have a possible mast cell tumor under his upper lip which he is having removed on June 12. The vet discovered it when he was cleaning his teeth. It has me a little worried as anything to do with cancer would. He was x-rayed last week and everything looked normal so that's a good sign. But until they remove the actual "bump" and analyze it we won't know for sure what's going on and what his prognosis may be. I'm hoping for the best. All of this brings back memories of my Tootsie who, of course, died last year. I thought she was my money pit but Sir G may have her beat! We'll see....
Other than that, he has been a great dog although he seems to be a "one-person" dog. He follows me everywhere and doesn't want to sit with anyone else. He still sits up on his haunches to beg and is still quite vocal! He is definitely a great addition to our family and Brownie still tries to dominate him but he fights back more. He may try to hump her more these days than the other way around!
Take care,
Patrice
