General Comments

Shawna has come a long way since the day we rescued her. She was as close to a wild dog that we've seen in awhile.  She made a lot of progress after several months in foster care but like with many shy dogs they tend to bond quickly to those that care for them. We moved her into another foster home to help continue with her socialization and the COVID hit.  

Like many shy dogs that haven't had proper socialization Shawna needs a canine friend or two.  Ideally a passive canine brother would be best for Shawna.  She is house trained and crate trained. She loves to catch up on all the neighborhood gossip (smelling bushes and leaving her own "pee mail" for others) during her daily walks. 

Shawna is sweet and independent. She enjoys adventuring around town exploring new parks and dog-friendly establishments. She loves to be included in the action and enjoys playing with her toys and chewing on giant dog bones.
