General Comments

 This little gal is such a beautiful gal that has had a bit of a rough life.  When we rescued her she had been dropped off at Animal Control by her owner of 10 years.  Winnie had hardly any hair on her body, a "cherry eye" and was not spayed. We took care of her medical issues and with some good nutrition her fur is already growing it.  Her fur is soft as a bunny and so pretty.  And her eyes, one look and you'll fall for her for sure.  If that doesn't do it, her cute smile surely will.  It's hard to resist her charms.  Here are just a few words from some of her fans:

"Winnie is a little lovable thing, with more energy than you'd expect from a pup her age. She couldn't wait to get out for a walk and roll in the grass, pleasantly checking out the other people and pets at the park. Winnie walks well on the leash and will watch to make sure she's keeping out of your way. She perks up when given attention from passerby’s, and didn't shy away from any of the bigger dogs that passed us on our walk. In the car she settled in to the passenger seat without complaint and didn't push to sit in your lap. She busied herself snuggling with whatever volunteer was free, or pouncing at the different chew toys that were out."

RESCUE History

 Winnie weighed 8.3 pounds when we rescued her.  She was surreneder by her owners when they had a baby.
