General Comments

Dylan is a handsome and dapper little man with his fancy tuxedo and white socks!  This talkative guy is very friendly and loves attention from his people. Dylan enjoys being pet and lavished with adoration by his many fans, but nothing, absolutely nothing, makes Dylan happier than warming someone’s lap.  He’s serious when it comes to lap time.  When he sees an open lap, he’ll make a beeline for it.  Once there, he makes himself comfortable and settles in for the long-haul.  We’re not exaggerating…best to have your phone, remote, and a book close at hand once Dylan takes up residence…chances are you’ll need to get up long before he even thinks about moving!  Lap time is pretty special quality time…Dylan purrs in contentment and occasionally lets out soft meows while simultaneously your cares melt away as you experience his therapeutic unconditional love and adoration.

Dylan prefers to keep all 4 paws firmly on the ground, mostly because when he’s not in snuggle mode, he’s way too busy to be held.  Dylan is quite active and likes playing with a wide assortment of toys including pipe cleaners, the laser light, and the ever elusive ribbon wand toy.  This go-getter will chase his toys from one side of a room to the other!  After playtime, Dylan is more than happy to recharge his batteries with a good meal - our little foodie has never met a meal he hasn’t liked!

This sweet guy makes friends with every cat he’s ever met, always thrilled at the idea of having a new playmate!  He even did well with a volunteer’s dog, walking right up to her nose, sniffing a greeting, and then walking under her belly where he then proceeded to stand up on his hind legs to say hello again!

Dylan was rescued from a hoarding situation.  Given the circumstances of his past life, Dylan is hoping to find a home where his people will recognize what a special guy he is and how much he has to offer his new family.
