General Donor Program

RESCUE has become very successful in a short period of time. We have become the largest (in terms of number of adoptions and volunteer base) no-kill animal rescue organization in the sixth largest metropolitan area in the country. As RESCUE continues to thrive, our needs evolve, but one issue remains consistent: We will always need and greatly depend on our community's financial support. Below are some donor opportunities, which offer a variety of ways to contribute to RESCUE, and ultimately help our animals. Please remember, any donation large or small is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity!

Ways to donate:

We hope that you can find a way to participate in our General Donor Programs. Please know that any donations valued at $100 and up will be recognized on our Donor Acknowledgements page. Please click here to make your credit card donation.

If you would like to discuss any of these donor opportunities, you can contact us via email at . Or, you can mail your donations to:

Help with monthly bills:

Help us to pay for the enormous monthly veterinary bills, which include critical services such as:

  •  care of sick animals
  •  spay/neuter
  •  FELV/FIV combo testing
  •  medical procedures
  •  blood tests
  •  boarding costs

We have tremendous, mutually beneficial partnerships with a number of Veterinary practices in the Valley. We receive substantial discounts off of their standard rates for everything from boarding and supplies to medicines and procedures. Despite these discounts our monthly medical bills sometimes exceed $20,000 in a single month.

Other ways to Donate:

RESCUE accepts durable goods on behalf of our animals. We are always in need of:

  •  Science Diet food for our dogs
  •  Science Diety Adult Original (dry) food for our cats
  •  ExquisiCAT Premium Clumping brand liter for our cats
  •  Cat and dog toys and beds
  •  Gift cards to local pet supply stores

An example of this type of donation is a true story showing the Spirit of Christmas! In 20003, twelve-year old Chandra Morris, a very special young lady, decided to save her allowance for 4 months so she could buy Christams presents for the cats and dogs at one local shelter. Chandra's mother tells us that she did the research on the internet by herself to find the shelter she wanted to donate to. Chandra picked RESCUE, because she liked the fact that our animals are taken off the euthanasia list at Maricopa County Care & Control and given a second chance to find their forever home. Chandra says that she loves animals, and that she really didn't need anything; she has enough clothes and toys for herself; and she wanted to do something for the animals. She made up individual bags of goodies for the RESCUE dogs, and the RESCUE cats received lots of dry food, litter and treats. The RESCUE cats and dogs thank Chandra for her generosity in supporting their second chance at life!

RESCUE has the typical business needs similar to any other corporation. We appreciate the generosity of companies that may be willing to assist us with these types of services.
